A screen can show a palette, but it cannot show how a stone sample sits beside a woven fibre or how a sign reads from the other side of a courtyard. We print the work, hold samples in real light and test the decisions against the room they are meant to serve.

It is slower, but it catches the details that matter: scale, glare, texture, weight and the distance between one decision and the next.
